Archive for August, 2009New BBQ Smoker – we are moving right along in the Brisket zone! Can you believe it? Just a little over a year ago, we got our “big” smoker. Now, just 16 months later, we took delivery of a new unit – more than 3 times the size. I guess we are doing something right – fundraisers, rehearsal dinners, weddings, Guest Chef nights, birthday parties, corporate events – all our “now famous” Texas Style BBQ. Call me and we will get you in the calendar for a catered event. 859-319-5000 or 4000 |

Archive for August, 2009Rev. Stewart Wedding Rehearsal dinner in Danville, KYwe had the pleasure of cooking for Reverend Jim Stewart’s son and very near future daughter in law’s Wedding Rehearsal dinner here in Danville at his Presbyterian Church. 75 people and most of the people I spoke with were from out of town – namely Washington, DC and Kansas City, MO. The DC people want us to open a restaurant near them and the KC, MO people loved the Q! I overheard someone say, is this BBQ as good as Kansas City’s BBQ and the reply was not surprisingly, “this is good, but KC is known for its BBQ – they are a BBQ Capitol of the world”. Now, I didn’t expect them to say mine was better, but I was delighted to even be in the same sentence as KC BBQ. |
